Minor mish-mash of a slightly more memorable quotations |
|
Wise men talk because they have something to say; fools, because they have to say something.
Plato (Greek philosopher, 428 BC - 348 BC), Dr. Jay Kennedy: 'The Plato Code' cracked |

The whole is more than the sum of its parts. Aristotle (Greek philosopher, 384 BC - 322 BC), Metaphysica |
|
There will come the time when attentive researches conducted through
long eras will bring out to the surface what now lays hidden. A single
lifetime, even if entirely devoted to the heaven, would not be enough
to study something so vast… And so will the knowledge flourish only
after a long list of epochs. Then will come the time when our ancestors
will be amazed that we didn't know things that are completely clear to
them. Many discoveries are kept for times that are yet to come, when
memories of us have already faded. Our world would be a pitiful place
if there wouldn't be enough to offer for research in each epoch. Nature
doesn't reveal her secrets all at once and to everybody.
Lucius Annaeus Seneca (Roman philosopher, c. 4 BC - 65 AD) |
|
An idea is always a generalization, and generalization is a property of thinking. To generalize means to think.
Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel (German Philosopher, 27 Aug 1770 - 14 Nov 1831) |

When facts are few, speculations are most likely to represent individual psychology.
Carl Gustav Jung (Swiss psychiatrist, 1875 - 1961) |

Infinity is a very long time, especially towards the end.
